	All awards, with the exception of the Long Service Award, are open only to fully paid up Class B members of the Union and lapse automatically on the termination such membership. Holders of Awards are entitled to place after their names the abbreviations corresponding to the Award in each case, except for advertising for commercial purposes. Award holders are expected to conduct themselves at all times as worthy representatives of the Spiritualists’ National Union and they are required to sign a pledge not to serve any Church which has been suspended for the time being from participation in the services of Award-holders of the Union or one conducted in the manner prejudicial to the welfare of the Union. No person is eligible to apply or be recommended for any award if he holds any position in or any award of any religious organisation holding principles deemed by the Council of the Union to be incompatible with the Seven Principles
